Harkishan Singh Surjeet : 'Sickled General of the Hammered Masses'

Harkishan Singh Surjeet  (23 March 1916 – 1 August 2008)

The quintessential hero, who walked the 'blotched red carpet'. I adore the man for his pre independence brashness against the colonial rule and the post 1947 piped crusade to promote communal harmony. In national pedagogy, clouded by political leanings and biased connotations, he is the 'rarely sung hero'. On the occasion of his third death anniversary...

  1. I'd never heard of Mr. Surjeet...until now. Thanks for motivating me to look up on another of our unsung heroes. :)
    Love the caricature. :D
Please read my friend's blog post. It's a tech blog...he needs some help with promotions. Please promote it on Indivine, if you like it!:)
