The quintessential hero, who walked the 'blotched red carpet'. I adore the man for his pre independence brashness against the colonial rule and the post 1947 piped crusade to promote communal harmony. In national pedagogy, clouded by political leanings and biased connotations, he is the 'rarely sung hero'. On the occasion of his third death anniversary...
I'd never heard of Mr. Surjeet...until now. Thanks for motivating me to look up on another of our unsung heroes. :)
